The Lunar Islands have been home to wolves for centuries; no other predator dares enter their domain. Why? Because among the timbers, the reds, the maned, and all the other breeds of wolf, there is the Sterling. Sterling Wolves are unique; twice the size of the largest timber wolf, Sterlings are powerful warriors. No big cat or bear dares tangle with the Sterlings. There is something else about the Lunar Isles that makes outsiders wary; beasts born on the islands or on the peninsula are often born with unique powers or mutations.
