[atrb=width,240] Felix swung his sword out before him slicing the vines to clear himself a path. He walked slowly forward taking in the texture of the rough almost dusty ground beneath his feet while allowing the soft light aroma to fill his airways as he took a deep breath. The male's newly cleaned armour sparkled within the gentle light sprouting from both the natural sun and it's flare being reflected from the water."It's still just as beautiful as I remember, not that I really cared about what the place looked like when I met you" he exclaimed appearing to be speaking to himself until his gaze was directed upwards upon having a series of leaves fall against his head. <"I remember young one do you still find me as beautiful as you did then?> asked a strong female voice from within his temple. He couldn't help but laugh at the comment. His beast was so very prideful but he would never change her for the world. "Of course. In fact your even more so" As soon as the word's left his mouth she was beside him her head slightly tilted before she nudged her head under his arm pulling the male toward her in a gentle embrace. <You never did thank me for saving your life> added the creature it's tone slightly tired as it rested it's eyes. "Thank you Tarian" he muttered eyes twinkling as he flash backed to where it all began. To where his soul became whole. The male was a small boy at the time just barely sixteen but that factor didn't make him any less dangerous than the people he trained with, in fact it became like a secret weapon. Everyone thought twice about striking a child even if that same child had killed at least five of eight soliders armed with a bow and three arrows. Felix was confident with his technique on the battle field he always had been, some people were born for battle, Eli was one of those people. Of course at the time he wasn't aware of his weaknesses either, the fact that his strong figure could attract foe's he simply couldn't handle alone, he was just one elf, he couldn't fight a whole army. No matter how much he wished different Eli needed someone but there was no one who he could trust with his life who he had a bond with this he walked alone, forever searching. He took a silent sigh of relief as he came across a small bank the water around him looking like a thousand stars in the moonlight. The male loved the night there was just something about the way that it could hide a village or a crowd of people under it's hood hiding them from view. It had saved Eli's life many times before though it had also hidden his foe's from site restricting his body to use every strand of power it could hold. The night had made him stronger. "Anyone here?" he asked his mothers bow being tightly held within his palm that drooped gently beside his calf. Felix's parents confined in him that morning about a figure they had seen by the mystic pool instantly causing the young self made hero to rush off towards said pool without the full story. Back to reality his ear's twitched as a twig broke behind him heart quickening it's beat to pump both blood and adrenaline around the male's body. His eye's narrowed as a small shadow passed his left allowing Eli to grasp an arrow carefully along the long bow string that shook slightly once the two connected. His body tensed as he felt the familiar wind of movement rushing toward him. His face twisted into a grin before he jumped back aiming an arrow directly into his attackers chest, a small splatter of blood erupting from within. The elf fell it's now lifeless hand's dropping two darkened orange blades toward the ground with a soft thud. "Who are you?" he asked with a frown lowering his body to that of his previous target watching it's small chest heave slowly up and down. The figure didn't answer merely shaking it's head before laughing through a blood caused gargle. "Who are you?" Felix repeated thrusting his arms forward to grab the dark elf by it's neck lifting it upwards against the rough textured bark of a near by tree only to be met with another laugh and a release of a long sigh. The sigh slowly dispersed taking with it the very life force of it's owner joining it back with the energy of it's surroundings. Regretfully the male let the body drop performing a small series of hand movements over it. "May you find forgiveness wherever you cast" Did the elf deserve respect? Probably not, but that wouldn't stop Felix from giving it. He didn't believe believe in pure evil surely the dark elves were just misguided in their ways? Even if they were evil Felix wasn't going to be like them. Eli heard the device before he felt it but was too slow to register the sound with his memory bank thus remained still as a large arrow surged through his leg, the male's own weight forcing him to the ground. He pushed down upon his hand's trying to shift his weight toward his other leg leaving him open for another blow this time a boot connected with his slightly exposed ribs throwing him sideways with a loud crunch as something broke. Screaming out was all he could do in order to stop himself from falling unconscious though he wished he could adjust his pain respecters to off. Glancing above him he could see a pair of dark elves coming closer to him frail figure one armed with an empty crossbow, it's arrow obviously the one still inserted in his leg while the other held a small blue dagger carved with the symbol of a dark elf. "You don't need to do this" he gasped moments later however to no effect. The dagger was drawn gently across his neck only digging in enough to split a small centimeter of skin causing a few drops to connect with the soil. Felix's oval eyes begin to close as he watched the horrors becoming to his body the scenery slowly fading away into a blur. "Help" he muttered finally though it was almost inaudible. A fierce growl erupted from close by it's roar echoing against the males very bones though no matter how hard he tried he couldn't move an inch. Felix muttered to himself though had no energy left to be scared of whatever was roaming closer however both elves next to him could causing each figure to flee with a yell of terror. In their place stood a fierce creature yet through his slowly draining eyes all he could really make out was beautiful crystal like blue fur. <I'm here, all you needed to do was ask. Hold on to me human> They had just met but already the male knew he could trust the female he was now holding against with everything he was. It was strange, powerful, scary, funny, beautiful and enjoyable all at the same time, he had never felt anything quite like it. Moments passed before he felt a gentle chill of water cover his wounds being lowered into the pool which entered his skin joining the rips together to expel the arrow and heal any imperfections his previous battle had caused him to suffer. Once he was completely healed he felt the light hold of him relax as the female moved back leaning on her strong hind legs tail wishing around her feet. "Your beautiful" he gasped staring at the electric blue creature who was just that, there was no other word to describe her she was the most amazing animal he had ever seen and he knew exactly what she was. She was his beast. <Yes I am> she answered with a glee while lowering her body down so that Felix could climb up having read his mind <Now let's go we should train young one> Nodding the pair disappeared into the cluster of trees so quiet that even the birds above them couldn't sense their movements. | [atrb=width,100] words , 1393 words tagged , Just Felix && his beast notes , love this post & love his beast <3 |
