He usually only uses two swords in a duo blade fighting style. His third sword is rarely used, but when he does use it that means he really gets serious, thus dropping his first sword. When fighting he usually starts with one sword and as the battle gets harder he will then draw his second sword. If it still a struggle to continue the battle, he will then drop his first sword and draw out his third, which is a very special sword to him. He doesn't draw it just for anyone. Arrow is also, like his new name suggests, is pretty good with a bow and arrow. I wouldn't say he's a expert marksman, but he has some skill with the thing. He doesn't use it often either, only for hunting or really long ranged attacks. On the Outside: Arrow is a lazy guy who seems to want to nap all the time. Even though he seems to be napping all the time, he actually doesn't sleep, but that will be explained more later. He seems like a coward who would rather flee than get in a fight. He sometimes dumps his fights on his "friends" while he runs off, most of the time getting others in his problems. He's a heavy smoker and gambles, which is why he always gets into trouble because he can't pay off his debts. Arrow is impolite, even to nobles he comes across, and for most he is very hard to figure out. On the Inside: Arrow is really a nice guy at heart. Even though he runs away from most "petty" fights, he'll actually fight when it comes to dark elves. He has a haltered for them and can't stand to see women and children harmed. He tends to do the lone wolf thing and will take the entire burden on his shoulders so that no one else would get hurt. He doesn't actually get much sleep due to reoccurring nightmares which is why he seems to tired all the time. He always sleeps with his weapons and never feels comfortable without them. Though he is no longer a solider, he'll still help out the light elves from time to time in the back. He holds on the past and can't forgive himself for no being able to protect his family and because of that he doesn't think he's "qualified" to protect anyone. appearance In general, you could say he has a rough look to him. He's about 6' tall and has the stench on cigarette smoke around him most the time. Arrow has long shaggy black hair that reaches to his shoulders. His body is pretty toned because he was a solider before and he still does some working out to keep up his skills. Arrow has a large slanted scar on his chest and a brand of the dark elf kingdom mark over his heart (on his chest). He also has a small scar over his left eye. Arrow has very bright grey eyes though and has a little of scruff on his chin, but not enough to call it a beard. He wears dark clothes, mostly black and long worn traveling boots that reach up past his knees. He holds his first two swords at his hip so it's easy to reach and his thrid sword is carried sideways on the lower part of his back. His bow and arrows are usually kept with his pack on his Beast's saddle. history Arrow grew up in the lower slums of the capital. He was always good with fighting, because that was the best way to survive in the slums. He was quick too and could steal almost anything from the stalls of the market. His mother sold her body for money and he never really knew his father. He really didn't like his mother and was practically never home. His mother really didn't care for her son though and wasn't worried for him at all. She died when he was about twelve years old from a drunk. Arrow had walked in on the murder though and fled to the forest to escape death himself. There he met his Beast and after a few days of living in the forest he came back to town. He knew he could have a better life and studied to become a knight of the kingdom. He did join at the age of fifteen and most of the other solders that were enrolled stayed away from him since he was the son of a whore and from the slums. It was a surprise that he even made it in, but his skills had proven himself worthy to fight. At first he was put on small duties like patrolling the market area or other low level jobs. Then he began to rise in rank, even going into some battles. Not only did he rise in rank, but he also fell in love with a lovely woman named Lilith, when he was twenty years old, who was the daughter of the baker in the market. They got married a year later and had a beautiful baby girl. At the age of twenty five, Arrow became one of the most skilled fighters in his squadron. Arrow was then stationed outside of the capital, so his family ended moving out to a near by town so that he could visit them more often. Suddenly a battle was fought near by. The light elves ended up wining, but at a heavy cost. Arrow was also injured badly with a large slash down his chest. When he was well enough, they sent him home to recover and be with his family. Unfortunately when he got to the town, the survivors of the dark elf arm had found their way to the small town. The men were killed and the women and children were kept as slaves. Enraged, Arrow and his Beast sprang to save Lilith and his young daughter. He was still heavily wounded though and was captured after a good struggle. That was where he received his scar on his left eye. His wife was killed in front of his eyes and his daughter was never found. They also branded him with the mark of the Dark Elvin Kingdom to remind him of that day always. Hearing word of what happen to the town, soldiers came and rid the town of the surviving dark elves. Arrow was saved, but he still could not forgive himself for not being able to save his family. He abandoned his name Duke and from then on became know as Arrow. He left being a light elf soldier and became a wandering “vigilante” who would still help out the soldiers from time to time in the background (like destroying the enemy’s supplies and such).
