 The Battle of Hogwarts has come and gone. The trio have had their children and they are no attending Hogwarts. Everything has been peaceful or so people would like to believe.
Seven Horcrux’s were destroyed, so the story goes, but what if one remains? Destroying 7 destroyed Voldemort as far as anyone is concerned but his soul is still lingering in the Wizarding world. It is currently in the hands of the Hogwarts student, Matthew Edgmon. It all lies in his wand and without his knowing.
Tom Riddle’s first kill split a small portion of his soul into the wand of his victim. Through time the wand ended up back in Ollivanders. It was Matthew’s fate that the wand should choose him. A faithful wand that has seen him do well throughout his time at Hogwarts but has also caused him trouble. The whispers that he hears. The hatred towards Muggles and muggleborns that rises out of nowhere.
With Albus Potter taking more of an interest in Matt and his views and James Potter preparing to join the ministry, will there be a rift in the Potter clan? Is the Wizarding world about to be split in two all over again? Is it all just waiting to explode like a time bomb?
