Though this becomes her striking out at the person and crying when she feels no one will see her. ∴ Violent - When she is angered her first thought is to strike out at the source of her anger, though she might just hit something nearby if she feels it would be troublesome to hit the other person. ∴ Stubborn - She sticks with what she believes and she doesn't like to hear otherwise. It would take a very strong point for her to believe that what she thinks is wrong. Push too far and she might just shut you out and slip into anger mode. ∴ Closet Klutz - Since she was young she has been a bit of a klutz. The years of training has pretty much gotten her over this but whenever she lets her guard down, she can trip up and even fall flat on her face. What she does have is a slim figure. In fact, one could say she has the perfect figure and body except for her nearly absurd lack of breasts. eyes: Her eyes are actually a similar color to her hair, though they are darker around the outside of her iris with a dark brown center. The color seems to fade from dark brown edges to light brown (the most dominant part of her iris) back to a dark brown near the outside of her pupil and ending with the black of her pupil. The dark brown around the pupil seems to fade into the black. hair: Her hair ends just above the back of her knees. It is light brown and well taken care of. She tends to tie the ends so the wind doesn't blow it everywhere. She refuses to put it into an actual ponytail because she doesn't like the feeling of it being constrained. stats: height: 5'9 weight: A close guarded secret blood type: B history Karla is the first born and only child of Henry Vraimont, the younger brother of William Vraimont. The Vraimont family prides itself on their battle prowess and their power. So her being the single heir to her father's half of their fortune was a big deal. Despite all the pressure on her shoulders, she didn't have a rough childhood. Her father had met her mother when he had taken a trip to the market. He'd just returned from a hunt and was selling some materials he had salvaged along the way. Her mother was a beautiful light elf with brown hair that appeared blonde under the sunlight, her eyes were a stunning emerald green. Despite her good looks, Sandra's standing was nothing more than a commoner, a merchant's daughter. Regardless, Henry wooed her and they were married, despite his father's disapproval. In order to make amends with his family, Henry devoted his all into the battle field, working for the now deceased king and doing anything that was asked of him. Although he didn't agree with anything the king did, he stuck with it so that his father would have no choice but to accept him back into the family, along with his new and now pregnant wife. Henry succeeded in returning into his family's good graces on the eve of Karla's birth. Her father wasn't terribly disappointed about having a daughter, assuming that they would soon bare a son to carry on their family name but he was not going to have this chance. Soon after her birth, her mother attracted the attention of the king. He was so taken with her that he tried to force her into an affair. She outright refused his advances, angering him beyond even she thought possible. From that day on, she dodged the king and his advances. She requested to take up residence at a Vraimont estate outside of the palace and in the forests, taking Karla with her. Henry agreed, knowing that it was best that she steer clear of the king until things cooled down. He back up on his duties to put his efforts into training Karla into the ways of the sword and hand-to-hand combat. By the time she was 12, she was pretty advanced in how to fight, though her size, all be it big for her age, kept her from really dealing any damage to anyone outside her age group. She was on the verge of turning 13 when the King formally invited Henry to bring his family in hopes of introducing Karla to the twin princes, hinting heavily at arranged marriage. Sandra wanted nothing to do with an arranged marriage for her daughter and Henry agreed but they at least had to make an appearance at court with a delicate and polite refusal. So, they returned to the castle. Henry formally thanked the king for his offer but said he wanted Karla to decide her own fate in regards to marriage. So much was weighted on her already that he wanted to grant her what little freedom he could muster. The king agreed rather easily, much to Henry's surprise. It was only later that he discovered the King's true intent was to have another go at his wife. She once again refused his advances and stuck close to her daughter at all times, keeping away from the King and all but removing herself from anywhere the King might find her. She simply counted the days it would take to get back to their estate. It was a day before their departure when Sandra, with Karla holding her hand, took a stroll in the gardens. She thought she was safe but she soon discovered she was wrong. The king, angered at her obvious avoidance and her outright refusal, was more than happy to find the beauty in the gardens with her daughter without a proper guard. Without warning he stabbed her through the back with his sword. He withdrew the sword from her body and smiled as she fell forward onto the grass, releasing Karla's hand as she fell. That image is forever carved into her memory. Her mother's pained and shocked expression as her blood spilled onto the grass. Karla cried louder than she had ever before, on all fours at her mother's side. She cried for her to stop bleeding and cried for help. The king, annoyed by the crying small child moved to strike her down as well, but Henry had been close by and upon hearing the familiar cries of his daughter, had gone to investigate. Henry saw his daughter in tears over her fallen mother with a sword rushing at her from behind. Henry snapped, throwing his blade at the king, causing him to drop his blade into the grass, a cut on his hand. Karla kept crying out as Henry ran to his fallen wife. He slapped Karla, to bring her to her senses and told her to grab his sword. She did so as he scooped Sandra into his arms and stepped away as the king cradled his hand and cried out in fury. Karla followed after her father, her cheek stinging and her heart heavy with worry. Her mother died of her wound soon after. Henry took his daughter and the body of his wife away from the castle, retreating to his estate to bury his wife and mourn her. The king barred Henry from returning to court but Henry couldn't care. His time became devoted to protecting Karla and training her to protect herself. It was later that year that the King was killed by his own son. Henry was among the first to raise his support for Cyrus, and offered his estate to the young prince until his own castle was built. The estate in the forest was well protected and more than capable of keeping them well hidden. It was then that Henry allowed himself to be made a dark elf, and he then offered Karla the change to. She accepted and joined Cyrus out of gratitude at him killing her mother's killer. Since, she has been training non-stop with her father. She has mastered the sword and is skilled at hand to hand. Where her motivation for training had once been to take her family name it has now been to support Cyrus' cause no matter what. Though she still has her family name to take on, she puts that second to her loyalty to Cyrus. She has been among the fighters in many battles of the war and taken on many and left many in her wake. War and fighting has become the air she breathes and the only thing she really feels confident about.
