He doesn’t talk much because he’s deaf, but he can read peoples lips perfectly. He usually uses sign language with people that can read it, but if he really needs too, he can speak roughly. He is very loyal to his master, the Dark Elf King, and never questions his orders. He is, what most call, a “perfect soldier”. He is very skilled with the sword, a katana at that, but ha trouble when it comes to people with brute strength. He is a small guy, so instead he is nimble and quick to attack his opponent. His soul purpose is to protect and obey one master, the king. He doesn’t quite understand the thinking of other people and will sometimes try to comprehend emotions like sadness or joy. He does, however, know the feeling of excitement, especially when it comes to fighting. He always keeps his sword with him with no acceptions to leaving it behind. He even sleeps with it so as to not be caught off guard. Fighting and following orders is the only thing he knows. appearance Ian is short for an average guy at a height of 5’6”. He has scary dark purple eyes that seem to hold no life to them and a face that rarely shows emotion. His hair is jet black, long enough to cover the tips of his ears and get in his eyes sometimes. Ian has deathly pale skin and just an over all appearance that makes him looks a little eerie. He wears black clothes that help him blend in with the shadows and he has two earrings in his right ear. He has many scars on his body, including a rather large one at the very bottom of his back. He also has the brand of a slave on his left shoulder from when he was young. With his clothes on he looks scrawny and small, but under neither, you see his muscular frame. history His father, who had killed his mother after she had given birth to Ian, sold Ian as a slave at a very young age. When he was about seven yeas old, he lost his ability to hear after getting a very sever ear infections that never were treated correctly. Still his awareness heightened through the feel of the power over the wind and his eyes became extra observant. His life as a young slave was harsh, but strengthening even though he looked very weak. A member of band of five mercenaries recognized this rare talent when they were staying with the slave owner for a few days. He bought Ian and actually gave the young boy his name. He lived with the mercenaries for a while, learning new ways to fight without the use of his hearing. It was difficult and very taxing. Many times Ian would go to bed with many wounds and sores. The next day they would be at it again. He was taught to always do a paid job, no matter what it was. Ian killed his first elf when he was nine years old. Instead of being freaked out over killing another being, he didn’t really care. The other mercenaries were getting creeped out by Ian and didn’t like having him around. When Ian turned fourteen years old, his mentor died by Ian’s own hand. He, like the other mercenaries, had begun to think ill of the emotionless boy. He even thought the boy was a demon because of how fast he mastered the techniques he was taught. In a drunken rage, his mentor had tried to kill Ian. Instead Ian killed him, protecting himself from the man. The other four mercenaries found out and were also enraged. They attacked Ian and the boy ended up killing all four of them. He didn’t escape untouched however. A large gash was on his lower back and Ian couldn’t reach it himself to properly treat it. He wondered the forest, the wound causing him to fall ill, and Ian ended finding his beast then. His beast, then, carried him around helping his Rider as much as possible. After about five days of barley surviving, he met the Dark Elf King who helped treat his wound and recover. It wasn’t out of kindness, but so that Ian could become a dark elf. Owing this man his life, Ian became a dark elf and swore to serve at his side for the rest of his life a loyal servant. He would only take orders for the king himself and does so till this day.
