So it begins. Dark caves have been molded to create stone walls. There is little light besides the what little is cast by the sconces mounted into the stone. It smells damp, and the horrors that await the group within the Labyrinth are unknown and endless until they reach the middle, then the true fear begins. A cerberus awaits to destroy those who fall weak in front of it. Who lose their courage and turn tail to run. No Beasts are here to help their Riders, no one is better than another, in here everyone exists to live. To survive.
The group that is brought here is brought under false pretenses. Sure they are supposed to reach the middle and find riches. Sure they are supposed to survive. But the neutral group who lead these Labyrinth games only search for truth. To find out who is who under these stressful times, who they can rely on, who can be an asset. They want peace. No longer is war a desire. These games are a way to force friendship between these two sides, Dark Elf and Light Elf. The ones who play the game just don't know it yet.
Play the game carefully, par-takers. Danger is afoot.

Kai couldn’t seem to keep that twisted grin off his face. He was just boiling with adrenalin and anxiousness to fight the monster at the middle of the labyrinth. He was wearing his usual baggy brown pants, dark brown boots, and chain around his neck. Today he also wore a small jacket that he left open and no shirt underneath. He ran his bladed fingers through his rebelliously styled teal hair, bright blue eyes looking at the group he was stuck with. He first saw a tall darker skinned man with red eyes. Kai really didn’t like him, but then again he didn’t like elves any way. Only a hindrance to the Sin in this game. Which brought him to the other male elf. He had black hair that fell to his about his chin with intense red eyes and a seemingly emotionless face. Kai noted to fight this man sometime after the labyrinth. Then he came to last two of the group, two of his siblings Lust and Pride.
Kai averted his attention away from the group and toward their surroundings. The cave was dark and eerie, water dripping from some of the stone spikes above. It smelled damp and the air around him was cool. Kai new if he wanted to get to the middle of the labyrinth, then he’d have to rely on those in the group who had more crafty minds. Kai hated to admit, and would never do so out loud, that he wasn’t very good with the whole thinking things through. He just usually rushed in head first with out any thought of what he should do.
He knew his brother Lust was crafty and sly along with his other brother Greed. Mainly all of his siblings were sly and shady instead of what Kai was, headstrong and all brute strength. It would make sense since he was the Sin, Wrath. He turned his gaze back to the others, his face stuck in its usual scowl. His light blue eyes scanned over everyone one more time before he spoke. “So what shall we do first?” He asked a slight smile on his face, arms crossed.

While he had no idea what he had gotten himself into other that mischief and greed, he could already admit that his company was entertaining by itself. Three strange looking folk, known to be the siblings of the Seven Sins, while another was a Dark Elf, like himself, scarred and weathered against his tainted skin. With zero company of that of a Light Elf, the assumption could already be made that arguements would be the least of their worries in their quest to reach the middle.
Rumor had it, that a mighty beast stood in the center of the maze. And had that not excited Leon enough, he had to depart with his beloved Sentrad to venture forth. Surely, the Chimera probably took the oppertunity to his advantage, not having to be dragged around by his toying Master. But a sincere part of the Dark Elf did miss the beast's company, and as much as he hated the feeling, being surrounded by three of the seven siblings of Death itself, made him weary. No matter - he would not let that thought break into his physical characteristics, the heathen smile plump against his darken features.
"Mm... Lets' see... " his voice cooed, daunting red eyes staring in front of the group, observing their choices, "It seems we have a fork. And if the rumors stand true, it'd be... unadvised to split up." Leon tossed his arms low to his sides, torso decorated in that of a simple button-up shirt, covered in black. Matching his waist, down, were a pair of baggy, deep violet pants, following that of steel-toed boots. "I say let the woman decide. You know, her knack for direction and all..." the Elf smirked, his self forked-tongue lathering in sarcasm as he looked towards Pride.[/style] [style=font-size: 10px; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style]

It was an understatement to say that Lust was getting highly impatient. He was one that hated it when things went slow and everybody was standing here trying to see if somebody else knew what it was that they had to do at the current moment. Apparently this elf and even his sister and brother had no idea how to just get up and go, take the one that looks better and see where you wind up. If it was the wrong spot there was always such a thing as going backwards. It was... Irritating to say the least.
Paine gave a bit of a crude smirk as Leon then turned to his sister. Lust, lacking a shirt and showing off his creamy skin, well-developed muscles, and pants hanging low on his waist, it was more than obvious to which Sin he was. "Don't trust her when it comes to direction." His moderately deep, velvet voice chimed out, taking up and walking a bit in front of everybody, now showing his nice back that looked so easy to just claw into in sweet pleasure.
"Who cares? Just pick one." Paine motioned for the right one by nodding his head and started to walk towards the fork in the path, not caring much if the others were following him or not. Even though Paine could be reckless at times, he was sly and was always coming up with plots; he was one that did think ahead, no matter what his outside looked like. Lust was one of cunning and wit, as well as the element of fire that he housed within himself. He wasn't exactly one that was the strongest when it came to brutality, but he could hold his own with what he had mixed with the large amount of agility he had under his belt.
The redhead held his hand out, a small flame appearing as it began to get darker and darker and visibility was limited. It seemed that all that was in this godforsaken place was just damp rock and probably insects crawling around like the nasty vermin they were. The flame danced in the palm of his hand and provided a source of light, allowing him to take a good look around, but it looked like this trail didn't end for a while.
It was then that he turned around, just a glance; he was curious to see if he was on his own or not.

The red-haired eldest Sin was silent throughout the whole conversation, contemplating which way to go. They had a 50-50 percent chance that they would reach the middle. If they split up... Then each group would still have the same odds as before. Glancing at the Elf who had implied she lead the way, she analyzed him. He, like Wrath seemed to like fighting in a sadistic sort of way. Wrath and the man were like the same person, though different bodies.
She watched as Paine walked towards the right path in the fork. She contemplated splitting off from him; she knew how to hold her own in a fight, given her fire ability, agility and what strength she'd gained from 'training' with Wrath--which was quite a bit. She was still weaker then her brothers and came close to matching her brother Lust.
She walked towards the left path and stopped at the beginning. Bringing a clawed, gloved hand in front of her, she ignited a fireball in her palm. Blowing on the fireball gently, she sent it forwards into the path and watched it as traveled down the dark hall.
Seeing the end of the path, she stopped the fireball with a twitch of her fingers towards her palm. Spreading her claws apart, she split the fireball into 3 sending the end flames to the side.
Exploding on impact, they lit up the whole corridor, showing one outlet with a quick end. "Hmm." She said and crossed her arms, turning towards Lust and started following him. "Follow. She said blankly, as she continued towards the youngest Sin.

Kai didn’t have to be told to follow since he was getting impatient with waiting. As Pride was lighting up the other pathway, Kai followed Lust without any hesitation. He really didn’t care if it was the right way or not because all he wanted was a fight. If they came to a trap or monster, he’d just have to fight his way through. Now if they happened to come upon anything else that required thinking, then he’d surly do horrible, which is where the others hopefully came in. He’d just use them to get through to the monster.
The path was getting darker and darker, and Kai ended up hitting his foot against a small, yet sharp rock that jutted from the ground. He cursed harshly at it, not due to the pain but more because it annoyed him. Then Lust lit a flame in his hand illuminating the dark cave a bit. The way they were going looked as if it would take a while. Kai toyed with the idea to go back and see if the other way could be a short cut. He glanced back to see Pride had followed Lust, meaning that the other way was of no use.
Kai was not only impatient, but easily bored. If this entire cave turned out to be was a long walk and a fight at the end then Kai would surly be disappointed. There must have been other interesting things in the dark and damp place. Kai crossed his arms, blades resting lightly on his arms so they wouldn’t cut him. “Is there really only a monster at the end?” He asked out loud not really expecting an answer from his companions, or as he saw them, his extra baggage.

He could already tell that between he and his companions, that the teal-headed one was a seeker for trouble- much like himself- which could end gloriously, or just horribly. He never did play well with others, and Sentrad was hastily to remind him of this.
It was an uncomfortable feeling, like rats tucked away in a maze on a mission to find the towering reward of cheese. While they had an objective in mind, and a prize at the end that promised riches, still- there was hesitation to who would place down the first foot. The shifting between the dirt sent crimson orbs to focus upon the redheaded boy as he hissed towards his sibling, in remark to Leon's past comment. As the female redhead was toying with a flame in her hand, motioning it towards the left, the male had taken the alternative to go right, another flame dancing in his own palm as the others began to follow.
The Elf had to admit, having two fire manipulators could work to his advantage in these tunnels. Without even trying, the thicken shadows that flooded amongst the stone walls began to shift, toying with the atmosphere they were permitted. To some degree, the creatures looked like deformed wolves, the shadow parted at their mouths as the interpretation of fangs formed. A wicked smile crossed Leon's lips as he now had his own company, aside from the Sins, prepared for anything and everything.
"Surely it's not that easy," the Elf's voice soothed, crooked smile perched at his lips as he eyed Wrath, a sense of twisted hilarity expressed over the mans' tanned features, "But then again, by words alone it seems even the Earth below your feet is a challenge." It may have not been the best time or set of words to address Wrath's stumbled foot, the chain of hisses and swears carrying a deep hatred towards the pointed rock that reached out, but Leon was beginning to get fairly bored along their trek. And he needed some entertainment, rather it be provided by the Labyrinth or not. [/style] [style=font-size: 10px; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style]

So it looked like the others had decided to follow him after all; such a shame, he was actually starting to enjoy the thought of doing this by himself. He could handle it all on his own if he wanted to, or at least that's what he kept telling himself; who knew what laid deep within these stone walls? Lust wanted to tell himself that it couldn't be too bad, it couldn't be as difficult as he was told it was, and therefore he had a lot of confidence about this place. He was going to beat it. Not just beast it, but completely obliterate it.
Just one elf was with him, the other two were his demented siblings. And the sad part was that Gluttony wasn't even here; how sad. He actually got along quite well with her and would probably be walking side-by-side at this very moment if she was here, laughing about how stupid the others were for not taking the first step. In fact, they would have taken the first step together, knowing just how well they got along.
Paine's red hair flickered brighter to darker as the flame danced in his hand, glowing eyes looking around but seeing nothing thus far as to where this tunnel was leading. But it seemed as though there was a small bit of conversation behind him, and he decided to listen in. Wrath spoke, seemingly disappointed because he had come to the conclusion that this was just a long walk until they would face the monster. If what Paine had heard about this place was true, then they would be having much more fun than that. Leon then spoke back, retorting towards the blue-haired rage Sin, and the desirable creature that was full of such lust slowly turned towards the single elf.
"You are the only elf and you're surrounded by demons. Of course it's not going to be easy; for you, anyway."
As he spoke, his eyes gleamed brighter, but he didn't use his sinful ability on Leon just yet. That would wait for later when they were in the midst of battle. He would attack the elf when he was least expecting it; surprises were always so much more fun!

As expected the Elf and Wrath were nitpicking back and forth about about something; not that Pride cared. She just didn't want to have to walk right into a fight; literally
Is there really only a monster at the end? Said the eldest brother Sin, before tripping on a rock. Pride chuckled as the blue-hired sin let out quite a colorful string of curses.
Surely it's not that easy, but then again, by words alone it seems even the Earth below your feet is a challenge. Retorted the Elf. Though not a wise decision, it had Pride smirking to herself. No one insulted Wrath and got away with it, no one
You are the only elf and you're surrounded by demons. Of course it's not going to be easy; for you, anyway. Came the reply from the youngest Sin. She chuckled again in agreement; if anything that Elf would be the first to die; seeing as Sins themselves can never die.
Walking ahead of the two simple-minded creatures, Pride caught up to Lust and began walking side-by-side with him, not even bothering to look back. "So, who do you think will win, brother~? The Elf or Wrath?" She asked as she kept her eyes trained ahead. "My votes on a tie, seeing as how they're so alike."
Turning a corner into even more darkness, she was trying to resist the urge to comment on Lust's abilities in combat compared to his abilities in bed. But... She couldn't resist any longer~ "So, brother~ Are your abilities in combat the same as your abilities in bed~? Weak and useless ~?" she asked chuckling, but was met with an elbow in the side.
"Ow!" She she said, hissing at Lust as she dug her nails into his back hard, leaving marks.

As the group walked down the dank halls the labyrinth's life source pulsed. For the labyrinth was not just a maze, it was not just a puzzle to figure out, it was a living, thinking thing. The air they breathed was only allowed to exist because the labyrinth enjoyed the game. And just like all living things it was constantly evolving, constantly changing. As it saw fit, it decided when and where to change, how to confuse these newcomers, and how to make them turn on each other. The labyrinth was the perfect creation.
A new challenge arose now in front of the group. As they traveled forward their lights suddenly showed a yawning gap with a seemingly endless pit, except if one were to look down in hole beneath they would see a sharply pointed stalagmites rising from the stony ground. One stalactite dropped from the ceiling with a rope attached to it. Rough sides decorate the pit, making it easy to find handholds and footholds. Moisture covers the walls however and bugs creep across the stone.
Which way across will you choose?
